In the forefront of industrial resurgence is AURIC. The Aurangabad Industrial City is a greenfield industrial smart city spread over an area of 10,000 acres. It is part of the Delhi-Mumbai Industrial Corridor Project (DMIC), which aims to develop an industrial zone spanning across six States between national capital, Delhi and its financial hub, Mumbai. The Government of Maharashtra has decided to develop Shendra and Bidkin neighborhoods of Aurangabad as a planned industrial township under DMIC.
AURIC will generate massive new-age employment opportunities leading to huge demand-supply gap for qualified and skilled manpower.
